The Opportunity
ADL is expanding its Performance and Risk & Resilience teams and is accepting applications for Business Analyst Internships starting in at its London office.
Internship duration: four to six months.
Interns will work across topics including operations, supply chain, procurement, and risk and safety.
From day one, you will be fully integrated into project teams, taking on responsibilities comparable to those of a junior consultant. This internship is designed to build core consulting skills, provide hands-on experience, and enable close collaboration with clients in a dynamic, international environment. High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time Business Analyst role upon completion.
Responsibilities
- Apply strong analytical and quantitative skills to structure and interpret data.
- Support client projects through research, analysis, and insight generation.
- Synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and other client deliverables.
- Participate in client interactions, including interviews, workshops, and meetings.
- Support senior team members by capturing key insights and structuring outputs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across different levels of seniority.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal preparation.
- Support the development of intellectual capital within the Performance and Risk & Resilience teams.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Recent graduates (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) or final-year students graduating in summer 2026, with availability for a full-time internship of 4–6 months.
- Strong academic performance in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Business, Economics, Engineering, Science, Mathematics).
- Demonstrated interest in operations, supply chain, procurement, and/or risk & resilience topics.
- Previous internship experience in consulting or a relevant industry is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Location & Working Model
You will be primarily based in the London office, with opportunities for hybrid working and travel to client sites across the UK and internationally.
