Role

Officer, Officer, Cash Equity Middle Office Analyst – Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Securities & Derivatives Analyst 1 – C09) based in Hong Kong. This role offers resources to support your well-being, professional development, and financial planning.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Perform trade verifications to ensure accuracy of booking requests
• Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading, specifically around Equity Cash and securities transactions
• Maintain position records in coordination with the traditional trading desk assistant and/or trade processing functions
• Perform regulatory controls, account reconciliations, and record retention activities in accordance with established policies
• Support trade capture management, Front to Back reconciliation, identifying operational risk, trade confirmation and settlement forecasts
• Understand the trade matching cycle – CTM and Traiana
• Knowledge of securities settlement for AP markets is preferable
• Client servicing experience is essential
• Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations; uphold Citi’s reputation and safeguard clients and assets; escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency

Qualifications

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Experience in institutions linked to capital markets preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
• Efficient and accurate with numerical tasks and transactions
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or Finance
