Project Description
This internship project focuses on developing an understanding of load port health assessment within chemical vapor deposition manufacturing tools. The intern will explore load port functionality, key performance parameters, and health indicators through structured data review and guided learning. The project provides exposure to working with tool engineering teams and external partners to understand system behavior, while building foundational knowledge in equipment engineering, data analysis, and project coordination within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Project Scope
During the internship, the intern will gain exposure to multiple chemical vapour deposition tool platforms and develop an understanding of load port configurations, functions, and critical health parameters. The project scope includes:
- Structured collection and review of approved load port health data
- Analysis of data trends to understand equipment condition and performance characteristics
- Exposure to calibration planning considerations through observation and discussion with engineers and external partners
- Preparation of project milestone updates and documentation to communicate observations and learning progress
