Platform Analytics

Brief Overview

The Platform Analytics team is responsible for building and maintaining the internal data foundation that supports reporting, analytics, and business decision-making across the organisation. High-quality analytics data is critical in enabling the business to derive insights and operate in a data-driven manner.

This role sits within the Platform Analytics team and combines both AI and engineering capabilities. The selected intern will contribute to a greenfield initiative focused on automating a key internal business reporting function. This presents a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI prompt engineering, while working with modern cloud technologies to design and build practical, production-oriented solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and refine AI prompt engineering solutions to support automation and data processing workflows
• Design and build Python computation modules for internal reporting and processing systems on GCP
• Implement and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable Python code for data processing and automation
• Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of developed features to ensure production readiness
• Maintain and enhance existing BAU Python processes, ensuring stability and performance
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into practical solutions
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation and AI-driven approaches

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python, including data processing and scripting
• Familiarity with or exposure to AI prompt engineering / LLM-based workflows
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Keen interest in financial markets, trading systems, or exchange-related data
