Overview
The Real Estate Advisory Group (REAG) within Kroll provides clients with expert advice across a range of property asset classes throughout the UK. We support a variety of client interests, from financing, secured lending, purchase price allocation (merger & acquisition support), to financial reporting, agency, due diligence and property restructuring.
Currently an opportunity exists to join our market-leading valuation advisory team, providing advice to institutional and corporate stakeholders and property companies across Europe.
Navigating Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of valuation advice across both commercial and residential property in line with RICS Red Book requirements.
- Perform local and national real estate market analysis using all accepted and relevant approaches and theory.
- Draft internal and external reports and presentation material for review by Senior Managers, Directors and Managing Directors.
- Undertake property and market research.
- Manage instruction timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with any other tasks deemed necessary for the efficient running of the business.
- Attend relevant industry events to broaden knowledge and experience within the real estate industry.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified or a desire to work towards becoming MRICS qualified, an RICS Registered Valuer.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills (report writing and proofreading capabilities essential). Superior interpersonal, communication, marketing, sales and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of real estate generally, including valuation principles.
- Diligent, conscientious and highly motivated with the ability to work to a demanding schedule in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent research abilities.
- Ability to make effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience with managing day-to-day aspects of client relationships and projects.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English.
