Program Details

Citi Technology partners to ensure that Citi’s platforms “Be the Best” for clients globally, with a diverse and ethical workforce that applies innovation and automation to deliver a world-class client experience. We have over 30,000 technologists worldwide dedicated to serving clients' needs across the firm. The 2-year Analyst Program starts in July and begins with a robust training program. Rotational assignments help you build a broad skillset and accelerate your career growth by gaining exposure to more than one team in Software Development.

What You'll Do

You will work in an agile software development environment, developing quality and scalable software solutions using leading-edge technologies. Based on business requirements, you will develop code that meets quality standards and support testing cycles and post-production deployment. You will use appropriate tools to test and debug code and participate in peer code reviews. You will join with a cohort of other new hires and undergo training to learn about Citi, its tools, processes, and the technical skills needed to succeed.

Exposure may include the following categories:

  • Microservices Developer: Java, Spring Framework, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  • iOS: Swift, Xcode, MVC Architecture
  • Android: Java, Android Studio, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Java Web Services
  • Generative AI tools: GitHub, Copilot for code generation, automated code reviews, etc.
  • Web: Angular (latest), Eclipse, Java, JSP, TypeScript, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX

Additional exposure includes:

  • Data analytics tools such as Splunk, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics to track adoption of customer journeys and derive business value
  • Cloud adoption strategy with Citi APIs deployed across providers such as AWS
  • Engineering Excellence practices: Minimum Development Standards and Minimum Operational Standards
  • Design and software architecture patterns: Microservices, APIs, Spring Core/MVC/Boot/Cloud, REST
  • CI/CD with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Bitbucket, TeamCity, uDeploy, Artifactory, OpenShift (ECS/Docker)
  • Event streaming/messaging systems (Kafka, Solace, Aeron or similar)
  • Containers with Docker/Kubernetes

Qualifications & Requirements

We’re seeking trailblazers with a passion for technology and a drive to make a difference. To join this elite program, you should:

  • Be graduating between December 2025 and May 2026
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or another tech-related field
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
  • Be a problem solver who thrives on innovation and enjoys tackling challenges
  • Possess a global outlook and willingness to collaborate across cultures and time zones
  • Have excellent communication skills, project management, leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work well within diverse teams
  • Ability to pass technical interviews consisting of basic algorithmic programming exercises
  • Must be collaborative and adaptable, with excellent communication skills; prior experience in agile teams is desirable
