Finance and Business Management Analyst
We are seeking highly capable individuals with a minimum of 1 year of working experience in professional accounting firms or the financial services industry who would like to pursue a long-term career in the banking industry. On-the-job training will be provided during the first 12–18 months to gain a thorough understanding of how the Finance and Business Management department operates.
As a Finance and Business Management Analyst, you will be part of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and receive one-on-one mentorship and hands-on experience in Finance and Business Management. Key functions include Controllers, Financial Analysis, Business Management, Control Management, and Program Management.
Job responsibilities
- Support the legal entity control functions for the Bank entity (Full Banking License) and/or Securities entity (Capital Markets Services License)
- Timely and accurate submission of MAS returns, statutory and other local regulatory reporting
- Ensure compliance with the Corporate Accounting and Control policies
- Ensure timely and accurate Head Office reporting
- Maintain high level of internal controls standards
- Keep abreast of recent regulatory and accounting developments / changes, analyze impact, and ensure compliance
- Support ESG disclosure efforts for APAC by staying informed of industry standards and stakeholder engagement
- Shift across functions and have the flexibility to work with different Finance and Business managers according to staffing needs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in professional accounting firms or the financial services industry
- Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP
- Good understanding of financial products
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail, results-oriented, and delivery-focused
- Candidate must have intellectual curiosity about banking and finance
