Overview
The Corporate Meetings & Events Team is part of JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Firmwide Events structure, responsible for delivering best-in-class events and programs for a range of clients inside and outside the firm. The team partners with colleagues across all lines of business and manages the entire event planning process from conception through completion.
Role
Events Management Analyst, within the Corporate Meetings & Events Team, will engage with a broad range of business partners within the Firm. The role involves working closely with team members to strategically plan and manage various aspects of events, including data maintenance, registration management, and vendor management.
Responsibilities
- Partner with team members on multiple programs and tasks to deliver event-related projects.
- Support Meeting Managers with planning and execution activities such as venue research, data maintenance and integrity, communications, invitation creation, testing and distribution, travel and housing management, attendee registration, on-site staffing, and post-event tasks (budgets and debriefs).
- Manage attendee tasks, including reviewing and reconciling reports (invitee registrations, RSVPs, seating), managing event supplies and shipping, promotional item research and ordering, and production of print materials (name badges, tent cards, etc.).
- Collaborate with other planners on event data and analyses and assist in developing and reconciling event budgets.
- Manage travel reservation requirements and reporting, coordinate with travel agents on changes, create and manage air manifests, and work with ground providers.
- Deliver JPMorgan Chase & Co. event standards at every level.
Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in meeting planning in the financial industry.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with excellent multitasking abilities and the ability to thrive under competitive pressures while remaining focused on prioritized tasks.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with creative problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and PowerPoint (basic formatting) and Word.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot, and maintain a positive attitude and commitment to success.
- Willingness to work occasional late nights and travel as required.
