Role Overview

We present an informed and impartial perspective to help our clients reach their goals through the design and execution of strategic M&A and financing solutions. We provide impartial, expert advice to large and mid-sized corporations, private equity, families and entrepreneurs, governments and sovereign wealth funds. We design and execute strategic M&A and financing solutions for our clients and act as a trusted partner, taking a long-term and independent view on their challenges. Our deep understanding of financial markets, high deal volume, and unrivalled network of industry and financing specialists in 40 countries provide clients with a comprehensive global perspective to achieve their strategic goals. Our distinct capabilities allow us to achieve outstanding results for clients and act as their trusted advisers over the long term.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects of transactions, from client development and initial opportunity evaluation to transaction strategy and execution
• Develop and maintain standard or bespoke financial models
• Use a range of valuation techniques to support client advice, including discounted cash flows, trading comparables analysis, transaction comparables analysis, and LBO-based valuations
• Coordinate and support teams in the preparation of marketing and transaction documentation, including client presentations, information memoranda, and offering documents
• Identify new business opportunities for Rothschild & Co and new ideas for clients that advance their strategic objectives
• Coordinate and support the project team in coordinating all aspects of transactions, both internally and with other advisers
• Research relevant industries to support the team’s transaction initiatives, optimizing various information sources
• Note: Successful candidates will be considered for a Full-Time position based on performance

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Fluent in English; ability to speak a Southeast Asian language is a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role in a financial advisory and/or banking organization

• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and preferably research databases (ISI Securities and Bloomberg)
