Assoc Eng Test Engineering

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support Test Process operations in the module and meet operation goals.
• Develop and implement methods and procedures for test process control and test process improvement for production.
• Coordinate with Specialists to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet module objectives and that Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
• Design and operate sophisticated test equipment and fixtures, and ensure quality levels while minimizing defects and failure rates.
• Analyze reports and charts to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensure effective corrective actions are implemented, and contribute to supplier quality improvement programs.
• Create process job-files for test equipment for production setup.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, uphold safe practices, and ensure safe custody of tools, equipment, and other properties belonging to the module.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Pre-requisites

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant education and/or 1 to 2 years of experience in test engineering or wafer-fab production.
• Able to perform a 12-hour rotating shift.
• Physically fit and able to carry and attend to test fixtures or equipment in a cleanroom environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently.
