2026 Commercial & Investment Bank - Investment Banking Analyst Program – Off-cycle Intern - Hong Kong

Job Summary

As an Off-cycle Analyst in the Investment Banking Analyst Program within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will join a collaborative, supportive team where your diverse perspective will help us innovate the next wave of products and solutions for our clients. You will receive training, mentoring from senior leaders, and engage in projects that utilize all your skills. Our ten-week program begins with five days of orientation and training, providing you with technical and practical skills. Top performers may receive a 2027 full-time analyst offer at the end of Fall.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing market data, building detailed financial models and preparing client presentations for mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and capital markets advisory
• Participating in client merger and acquisitions and capital markets transactions from pitch to close under the guidance of our senior leaders
• Coming up with innovative and creative ways to solve complex, real-world business challenges
• Learning how we help clients and communities grow
• Sharpening your corporate finance technical skills
• Building your professional network with mentors, senior executives and others

Qualifications

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Fluency in English
• Expected graduation date of September 2026 – July 2027
  • If you are in a master’s program, it must be attained within 2 years of your receipt of a bachelor’s degree.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Excellent analytical, quantitative and interpretative skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment
• Being adaptable, flexible and resilient
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Academic major in finance, economics, engineering or business
