Work Experience Programme Overview

Our Work Experience programme offers the opportunity to join Maven at an early stage of your career as you consider options after leaving school. We are committed to providing fair opportunities and actively seek potential candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds.

Programme Details

The Maven work experience week provides first-hand insight into a day in the life of a Mavenite. The programme focuses on communication, employability skills, and interview practice to prepare you for future recruitment processes. It also includes a short-term project and work shadowing opportunities in one of Maven’s business areas. This is a unique opportunity for 6th form students who want to learn more about Maven and develop their professional skills in a friendly, collaborative environment.

Eligibility: You must be currently studying at secondary school in year 12 or 13. Please note that while you may network with employees from different areas of the business, including Trading, this is not a Trading-focused programme.

Who Is This For

This programme is aimed at students who have minimal or no work experience and are seeking guidance on options after secondary school, along with some first-hand experience of life at a company like Maven.

Accommodation and Travel Support

If you do not live locally to Maven's London office, we will provide accommodation throughout the programme. We will also support train travel to and from the office where required. Accommodation and travel support are provided at no cost to the student. Further information, including eligibility for accommodation, can be provided upon request.
