About the Role

To support Dealers for BAU activities in Asia. The Trade Support team enables Dealers to focus on advisory and execution duties by handling non-execution and non-advisory tasks for Investment Services.

Typical Day at BNPP Paribas

A typical day involves performing a variety of tasks. In the morning, generate and upload Money Market and Fixed Income prices, book FX trades executed overnight into systems, and prepare FX fixing for the afternoon. In the afternoon, manage lifecycle events for FX products and book new FX trades executed into systems. At the end of day, ensure all FX trades are booked, inform Front Office of FX products knocked out, and update the team checklist.

Primary Role Responsibilities

  • Book FX trades into Wealth Management and Global Market systems (Kondor+, Marginman, Soho Front Office, MS Access)
  • Notify Front Office and Operations of new FX trades booked
  • Manage lifecycle events for FX Accumulators/Structures: generate fixing notifications, notify Front Office of fixing outcomes, book fixing outcome to systems (Kondor+, Marginman)
  • Generate and upload Money Market rates to systems (BVE, Cortex FX)
  • Generate and export Fixed Income Pricing to Access Database for FO recommendation

Other Contributions

  • Participate and perform UAT for projects
  • Cover team members' duties in their absence
  • Share knowledge and information with the team about work and areas of concern
  • Respond to FO and Operations queries

What is Required to Succeed?

  • Knowledge of FX markets and products (especially Options and Accumulators)
  • Competence with MS VBA, Excel, Access
  • Attention to detail
  • Communication skills – oral & written
  • Ability to collaborate / teamwork

Required Education / Certification / Licenses

  • Bachelor Degree or Equivalent (3 years)
