Structured Lending Specialist - Origination and Structuring

Role

We’re looking for a Structured Lending Origination and Structuring professional to support Wealth Management clients across the bank’s lending capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales coverage for Wealth Management clients across the full spectrum of the bank’s lending capabilities.
• Engage clients to understand their objectives, risk tolerance and expectations.
• Structure bespoke lending solutions that meet client needs.
• Prepare the relevant credit memo reflecting the transaction request.
• Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders, particularly with the portfolio underwriter, to obtain approval for the requested transaction.
• Generate new ideas and creative approaches to push the business forward.
• Identify and meet client needs, coordinating with senior colleagues and investors.

Your team

You’ll be joining a strong franchise working in the Global Lending Unit in Hong Kong. We provide a full range of asset-backed financing solutions across the bank’s Wealth Management capabilities and through our partners in Investment Banking. As a structured lending specialist, you’ll play a vital role in helping clients meet their funding requirements and ensuring a positive client experience when dealing with our bank.

Your expertise

• 1–3 years of experience providing solutions to Wealth Management clients.
• Excellent knowledge of financial markets, corporate analysis and credit/lending business.
• Adept communicator and collaborator, able to adapt style to the audience.
• A passion for following market developments and understanding current and anticipated trends.
• Driven, with the ability to thrive in a high-paced environment with a consistently professional manner.
• Knowledge of Mandarin is mandatory.
