Programme details

As an RBC BlueBay Summer Intern, you will be placed within our Global Trade Operations team to gain insight into the responsibilities of a full-time Analyst. You will gain valuable exposure to the operations of a major international asset manager, as well as hands-on experience to kick-start your career.

Learning from experience

• Assist with day-to-day operational tasks across operations and support functions including Corporate Actions.
• Participate in automation projects, focusing on streamlining workflows.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in processes.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across operational workflows.
• Collaborate with teams across different regions to document procedures and develop process enhancements.
• Create and maintain Tableau reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
• Shadow team members to understand critical operational processes, such as trade lifecycle and reconciliation.

Training and development

• Opportunity to build knowledge of financial systems and tools like Charles River, Bloomberg, and other industry platforms.
