Programme details
As an RBC BlueBay Summer Intern, you will be placed within our Global Trade Operations team to gain insight into the responsibilities of a full-time Analyst. You will gain valuable exposure to the operations of a major international asset manager, as well as hands-on experience to kick-start your career.
Learning from experience
- Assist with day-to-day operational tasks across operations and support functions including Corporate Actions.
- Participate in automation projects, focusing on streamlining workflows.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in processes.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across operational workflows.
- Collaborate with teams across different regions to document procedures and develop process enhancements.
- Create and maintain Tableau reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
- Shadow team members to understand critical operational processes, such as trade lifecycle and reconciliation.
Training and development
- Opportunity to build knowledge of financial systems and tools like Charles River, Bloomberg, and other industry platforms.
- Development of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
