Role

Investment Performance Analyst. You will provide accurate and timely investment performance reporting and analysis for a variety of products, focusing primarily on the fixed income asset class for mutual funds, pools, and segregated accounts. This 12-month placement offers the opportunity to work alongside Portfolio Risk Managers, supporting risk management, analysis, and reporting of market and liquidity risks for BlueBay’s fund products.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain investment performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to design and develop accurate and relevant reporting based on the investment approach.
  • Maintain details on portfolio holdings and characteristics for internal marketing, compliance, and third-party data vendors.
  • Ensure accurate pricing, classifications, transactions, pledges, and corporate actions of securities held in portfolios.
  • Create daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
  • Compile GIPS® composite performance data using GAM systems and ensure performance data accurately reflects portfolio status.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
  • Analytically skilled with the ability to produce, analyze, and manipulate large data sets; strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of fixed income securities, rate of return calculations, and awareness of security types across multiple asset classes.
  • Strong technology skills (SQL, Python).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
