Client Onboarding Associate Analyst

Job Summary

The Client Onboarding Associate Analyst is a developing professional role that identifies policy and applies specialty knowledge to monitor and assess processes and data. It integrates disciplinary knowledge within the specialty area with an understanding of related industry practices and requires effective communication to diverse audiences. This role has limited direct impact on the business, primarily through the quality of tasks and services provided within the team.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to obtain all necessary documents and information to ensure a seamless onboarding.
• Handle all tasks associated with completing the onboarding process.
• Coordinate onboarding with internal partners, including sales, risk, legal, tax, and KYC.
• Liaise with other operational teams globally to ensure a globally consistent model for reference data.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory obligations are met when establishing new client relationships, product, and pricing sets.
• Verify all details of the client/product from regulatory and control perspectives for Institutional Client Accounts.
• Deliver routine and defined tasks daily while developing knowledge of the broader work context.
• Assess risk appropriately in business decisions, upholding the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets by complying with laws and regulations, adhering to policy, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Focus on delivering high-quality work

Education

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
