Job Description

Blackstone Strategic Partners is seeking an Analyst to join its Investment Operations team within its Finance department. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, with a focus on providing support and fostering collaboration with the Investment, Institutional Client Solutions, Global Fund Finance (fund accounting), Treasury, Tax, Legal & Compliance, and Technology teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution in the investment closing process
  • Collaborate with the Investment team and external stakeholders to collect, validate, onboard, and maintain investment reference and transactional data
  • Coordinate the legal entity creation and onboarding process with various stakeholders
  • Assist with collection and archiving of investment-related documents; serve as a central point of contact for communications related to underlying investments
  • Calculate investment and investor-level performance, analyze drivers of change, prepare track records, and generate ad hoc performance reports
  • Analyze exposure and key performance drivers of look-through portfolio companies
  • Prepare quarterly investor update reports and customized investor templates
  • Manage cash and custody accounts and provide oversight for transactions
  • Identify and monitor operational, regulatory, and reputational risks within the portfolio
  • Assist with various projects and handle ad hoc requests as needed

Qualifications

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are team-oriented, highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The ideal candidate is eager to expand knowledge of private equity finance and operations and to advance their career in a dynamic environment.

  • 1+ year of relevant work experience (e.g., audit, accounting, finance)
  • Bachelor's Degree required with a strong academic record
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick learner; highly organized with exceptional project management skills; detail- and process-oriented
  • Ability to plan, communicate, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Team-oriented; capable of building relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Sigma preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Expected annual base salary range: $90,000 – $125,000

Actual base salary within the range will be determined by experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. For roles outside the US, posted salary bands may be replaced by local market-based compensation.

Additional compensation and benefits include comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, FSA), paid time off, life insurance, 401(k) plan, discretionary bonuses, and potential eligibility for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s discretion.
