ING in Asia Pacific

Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions.

Portfolio Management at ING

The Portfolio Management (PM) team is responsible for the portfolio management of our loan portfolio. It covers all activities post the initial funding to the final repayment of a lending transaction. As a front office department, it closely collaborates with sector-based origination & structuring, corporate and specialized lending transaction management colleagues, and other product specialists to ensure a seamless client experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the PM team in evaluating credit risk, including financial, business, and industry risk, of sector-based corporate clients in Asia.
  • Input client data in our internal financial analysis and risk rating systems.
  • Prepare overdue credit and rating reports, overdue covenant reports, and other ad hoc reports for portfolio management.
  • Be involved in projects.
  • Update financial models.

Qualifications & Skills

  • You should have legal work rights in the country of internship.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, and the ability to update financial models.
  • Knowledge of accounting would be very helpful.
