Position
Role: Officer, Officer, Cash Equity Middle Office Analyst – Hybrid
Internal Title: Securities & Derivatives Analyst 1 – C09
Location: Hong Kong
What You'll Do
- Perform trade verifications to ensure accuracy of booking requests
- Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading, focusing on Equity Cash and securities transactions
- Maintain position records in coordination with the traditional trading desk assistant and/or trade processing functions
- Perform regulatory controls, account reconciliations, and record retention activities in accordance with established policies
- Support trade capture management, Front-to-Back reconciliation, identify operational risk, trade confirmation and settlement forecasts
- Understand the trade matching cycle – CTM and Traiana
- Knowledge of securities settlement for AP markets is preferable
- Client servicing experience is essential
- Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets by complying with applicable laws and policies, and escalating control issues with transparency
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience in institutions linked to capital markets preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
- Strong numerical skills and accuracy in transactions
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or Finance
