About the Hiring Team

Lightspeed Tech Center is a R&D department under Lightspeed Studios which develops PUBG Mobile and other high-quality games. Our Tech Center leads the research, exploration, and discovery of innovative technologies and provides technical services for all games during all phases of the life cycle, including engine, audio, QA, AI, next generation game, technical cooperation, etc.

What the Role Entails

• Support ongoing research and development in 3D generation, video world modeling, human motion generation, VLMs, and agentic AI.
• Assist in data preparation, model training, and experiment analysis for large-scale generative AI projects.
• Participate in project discussions, contribute innovative ideas, and help bridge research outcomes with game production use cases.
• Work closely with senior researchers to explore emerging frontiers in AI for digital content creation and interactive agents.

Who We Look For

• Enrolled as a PhD or Master’s student in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of deep learning fundamentals and basic experience with 3D, motion, or video data processing.
• Keen interest in applying generative AI to interactive entertainment and virtual world building.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in training or fine-tuning deep learning models for 3D or video data.
• Familiarity with relevant tools such as PyTorch, Blender, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
• Research publications in major AI or graphics venues.
• Passion for creativity, innovation, and practical AI applications in games.
