Summary

Corporate Sector Coverage (CSC) provides a broad spectrum of financing solutions to large corporations. As a strategic financial partner to corporate customers, CSC offers a comprehensive range of products and services. Our experienced and knowledgeable professionals understand the specific requirements of our customers and are committed to providing tailor-made financial packages in their best interests.

CSC also deals with transformational situations including mergers and acquisitions, major refinancing, balance sheet restructurings, take-over defense situations, pre-IPO and post-IPO financings, and strategic capital investments. These dynamic situations often require a swift response and a strong sense for the inherent sensitivities of all stakeholders.

An enthusiastic and highly driven local team focusing on ING's North Asia client base. The team is involved in high-profile deals with significant internal and public exposure. Given the size of the team you will quickly be given opportunities to grow and develop by taking ownership of parts of the different client projects.

What would you be doing?

  • Doing industry, (implied) ratings profiles and peer group analysis
  • Preparing client pitch books
  • Assisting in financial analysis and contributing to credit applications for leveraged or structured financing transactions
  • Assisting and analyzing due diligence information and reviewing transaction documentation
  • Contributing to execution across all aforementioned transactions and/or products
  • Engaging with other departments/disciplines, such as Corporate Sector Lending, Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Syndications, Financial Markets, etc.

What qualities and skills are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:

Qualification background

  • Candidates from Banking, Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, or relevant disciplines
  • Good academic grades
  • Fluent in English and preferably also in Mandarin given a large client base in Greater China
  • Relevant experience in corporate banking and finance roles, or from accounting firms, would be an added advantage
  • Possess legal right to work in Hong Kong
