About the opportunity

As part of a global team of 35,000 tax professionals in 150 countries, you will help develop applications for the team to provide quality service to our clients. Key responsibilities

• Use established work procedures to analyze, code, implement, and troubleshoot tax-based desktop, client-server, and/or web-based applications
• Maintain a strong focus on work commitment and quality

Skills and attributes for success

• Maintenance and improvements of existing applications
• Design, code, test, debug, and document software according to functional requirements
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve errors related to the applications

Qualifications

• Hold at least a diploma in Computer Science / IT related field
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, Java)
• Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Entity-Relationship (ER) modeling and database design
• Test Driven Development (TDD) and testing patterns
