What you will do
Through our internship program, you will gain first-hand experience with an industry leader in the energy and petrochemical industry. Your work and that of the teams contribute to the growth and future of our business, as we provide energy, sustainable products and solutions for society. You will explore your career aspirations while delivering tangible benefits throughout our business with invaluable on-the-job experience. You will have a supervisor and a buddy assigned to help you navigate the organization, provide development advice and help you learn what it takes to achieve your goals.
As part of the assessed internship, you’ll have a formal final review on project delivery and performance by your supervisor. You’ll also be asked to prepare a final presentation or report about your project. Your internship scope includes:
- Experience life as a Manufacturing Engineer with opportunities to support technical activities including monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization.
- Supporting improvement initiatives and programs to achieve safe, reliable and optimized unit operation.
- Investigating equipment failure and ensuring recommendations address the root cause with cost-effective mitigations.
- Involvement in significant projects, gaining insights into operational fundamentals and contributing to business needs.

About you
Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible for our Internship Program, you should be:
- Preferably in your penultimate year of study
- A degree in Engineering, preferably Second Upper Honors and above, and/or with leadership experience in non-academic activities or National Service
- Willingness to work at one of our assigned manufacturing locations in Jurong Island or Pioneer Road
