ING’s Financial Markets (FM) team provides a comprehensive range of products and capabilities and aims to be a leading presence in both market leader and challenger markets, with specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products.

Function Overview

We have an internship opening in the Financial Markets (FM) department. FM is the Bank’s gateway to professional markets worldwide. Our primary function is to service the needs of ING’s clients with products, services and guidance. FM seeks to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets, with presence in major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Business Management team and rotate within Trading and Sales.
• Document Trading Desk Procedures and gain exposure to the trading environment in a dealing room.
• Assist in developing spreadsheet tools to generate term sheets.
• Assist in producing sales pitch books using existing marketing materials.

Requirements

• Undergraduate in economics, finance, or science/mathematical disciplines
• Previous banking internships would be an advantage
• Highly proficient in Excel; experience with macros is preferred
• PowerPoint skills to produce marketing and sales pitch books
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Detail-oriented, systematic, and strong analytical skills
