Investment Banking in the Americas
The Americas Investment Banking Division (IBD) provides a broad range of advisory and financing solutions to corporations and institutions worldwide. Our global teams consist of experienced professionals who act as advisory, coverage, and product specialists.
- Coverage: Financial Sponsors coverage and Industry coverage in areas including Consumer / Retail, Financial Institutions, Healthcare, Technology and Media Services, and Greentech Industrials and Infrastructure.
- Client Financing & Solutions: Product specialists in traditional capital markets and financing functions, including Acquisition & Leveraged Finance, Equity Capital Markets, Risk Solutions, and Debt Capital Markets.
- M&A: Advisory services pertaining to mergers, acquisitions, strategic assignments, and debt and equity advisory.

Experienced Healthcare Investment Banking Analyst Role Overview

As a member of the Healthcare team, you will be part of lean deal teams with direct access to Managing Directors, Executive Directors, and colleagues from other Industry and Product teams on servicing and executing client transactions. You will gain exposure to working on live transactions and collaborating with colleagues across the US, Asia, and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Critical role in deal execution: Work with clients and execution teams on live transactions, including sell-side and buy-side mergers & acquisitions, partnerships, divestitures, and capital raisings.
- Strategic analysis: Conduct complex financial, structural, and business risk analysis to support transactions and client presentations.
- New business development: Participate in pitching and winning new mandates from clients, leveraging proprietary content and generating value-added ideas.
- Team management and development: Collaborate with other analysts to execute deliverables for clients and support mentoring of junior analysts.
Requirements
- Outstanding academic qualifications.
- Prior full-time investment banking experience; healthcare sector experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- SIE, Series 63 & 79 required.

Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $125,000 per year. Base pay offered may vary based on factors such as location, title and duties, experience, and advanced degrees. The total compensation package may include additional elements such as a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (including medical, 401(k), paid time off, and parental leave), depending on the position.
