Job Description

PwC Canada is seeking a Tax Co-op/Associate in the Industry Tax Practice. This role focuses on providing advice and guidance on tax planning, compliance, and strategy to help clients navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. You will support tax consulting and advisory services, delivering guidance on tax planning, compliance, and strategy to help businesses optimise their tax positions.

Responsibilities

  • Apply tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to client engagements.
  • Engage in discussions with clients to understand business needs and provide practical tax solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality services and contribute to client deliverables.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and technology to enhance audit and tax processes where appropriate.
  • Participate in PwC’s upskilling programs to develop data, technology, and business acumen.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values diverse perspectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Enrolled in post-secondary education and working toward the Canadian CPA prerequisite courses.
  • Interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends; willingness to learn new tools and adapt work methods.
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working with diverse teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities; ability to think broadly and question data, facts, and information to deliver value to clients.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, build trusted relationships, and share knowledge.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize, with project-management skills to handle changing priorities.
