Global Client Sales Intern

Internship Details

Internship Period: 3 August 2026 – 31 December 2026

Job Description

This role provides exposure to the MUFG Global Markets Business, with a focus on Interest Rates and FX markets. The candidate will rotate through each of the following desks for approximately six weeks:

• FX Sales
• Rates Sales
• Structuring
• Trading

The intern will work with each desk, gain exposure to senior members of the Sales and Trading teams, and gain insights into dealing relationships with MUFG’s clients. The intern will also contribute to projects and insights related to:

• Data analysis – industry/sector analysis focusing on MUFG’s clients and how to increase and optimise business with them
• Organizing client data and trends – analysis of internal data to determine client trends, presented as a SWOT analysis in report form
• Automation of reports – spreadsheet skills with macros to help automate existing manual processes
• Technical analysis – work with macro data and charts to identify trends in FX and Rates markets for client presentations

Requirements

• A “can do” attitude and an outgoing personality
• Ability to learn on the job and pick up concepts quickly
• Entrepreneurial spirit and pro-active approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Good with numbers and report-writing skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Student pursuing a degree in Business/Finance/Economics or related disciplines
• Working hours – 8:30am – 6:00pm

Location & Eligibility

This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only. MUFG’s internship partners in Singapore include the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
