Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and execute both manual and automated testing procedures to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience
  • Create detailed test cases and maintain test documentation to ensure consistent quality standards across all releases
  • Document defects with clear reproduction steps and track them through resolution
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective testing scenarios
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, provide testing estimates, and communicate testing progress and risks to project teams
  • Conduct various testing methodologies including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and stay current with industry best practices and emerging testing tools

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in test management tools and bug tracking systems are essential.

Technical Skills: Experience with testing frameworks, basic understanding of programming languages, familiarity with database queries, and knowledge of web technologies. Experience with automation tools and continuous integration processes is highly desirable.

Good to Have: Programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation development and basic back-end development.
