Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) is a global provider of investment products and services to institutional and retail clients across multiple asset classes. Global products are offered in Equity, Fixed Income and Alternative asset classes. MSIM, together with its investment advisory affiliates, has approximately $1.8T under management or supervision as of September 30, 2025. MSIM strives to provide outstanding long-term investment performance, service and a comprehensive suite of investment management solutions to a diverse client base, including corporate pension plans, insurance companies, endowments and foundations, public pension plans and high-net-worth individuals.
This role will work within the Counterpoint Global investment group to facilitate trading, compliance, account administration, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare reports and copy and distribute reports to the investment team daily, monthly and quarterly.
- Coordinate daily cash flows and initiate buy/sell programs as required.
- Create orders for submission to portfolio managers/trading desk.
- Check trade allocation on a next-day basis.
- Monitor cash positions.
- Coordinate corporate actions.
- Coordinate IPOs and secondary offerings.
- Screen maintenance and creation using Factset.
- Monitor portfolios daily for variances versus model, errors and cash positions.
- Perform other duties as specified.
Requirements
- Relevant experience is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral).
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Intellectual curiosity.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Independent thinker / self-starter.

Compensation
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay, if hired, will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short- and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefits.
Expanded legislation requires that roles in other state locations, but reporting to a manager in NY, include the above pay language with the pay scale reflective of the location where the role will sit.
