Job Summary

Join MUFG as a corporate banking professional focused on providing integrated agent bank services, ensuring accurate transaction processing, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. You will collaborate with regional teams, support KYC onboarding and due diligence, and assist with various regulatory and operational tasks to support efficient and compliant client service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with regional colleagues to provide integrated agent bank services tailored to customer needs.
  • Offer technical assistance and guidance to all stakeholders, ensuring clarity throughout each transaction process.
  • Liaise directly with clients to address queries, resolve issues, and foster trust-based partnerships.
  • Administer and monitor transactions in partnership with regional teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every stage.
  • Maintain strong connections with counsels, security agents, account banks, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Review documentation meticulously and coordinate with legal counsel and stakeholders for thorough due diligence.
  • Assist in Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding processes as well as periodic client reviews to uphold regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate waiver and amendment requests efficiently while responding promptly to tax, KYC matters, loan transfers, financial covenant collection, and ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of experience in corporate banking.
  • Product knowledge in long-term debt financing facilities / Debt Capital Markets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders including clients, colleagues, legal counsel, security agents, account banks, borrowers, and lenders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate review of documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements such as KYC onboarding processes.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated dependability by adhering to company policies and industry guidelines.
