Inspector

Overview

The Inspector will take on an active role in ensuring that vehicles follow LTA’s standards and guidelines.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform roadworthiness inspections on vehicles and ensure compliance with LTA's standards and guidelines.
• Perform monthly maintenance/repair of test lanes equipment.
• Conduct daily checks, lane equipment maintenance, and housekeeping of the lanes and its surroundings.
• Perform work-related tasks as determined by Supervisors/Management.
• Able to carry out shift work duty / trial run / overtime on Saturdays when needed.
• Must be able to work at different locations when required.
• Any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Possess a valid local Class 3 Driving License. Class 2b will be an advantage.
• At least NTC 2/3 in automotive mechanic / Nitec in Automotive Technology or equivalent.
• Good teamwork, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

Reporting Relationship

The incumbent reports to the Workshop Supervisor.

Work Location

STA Inspection Centre, Sin Ming
