Commercial Executive - Tenders & Estimations (Ship Repairs)

Responsibilities

• Analyze costs and prepare cost estimation based on tender specifications
• Obtain techno-commercial proposals from vendors for cost analysis
• Perform vendor commercial bid analysis against tender specifications
• Assist in tender clarifications and negotiations with equipment vendors
• Prepare credible cost estimates for management to price on works
• Liaise with ship owners, vendors as well as departments on project requirements and costs
• Negotiate and coordinate with all parties on project schedule

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in an Engineering field
• At least 1 year of work experience in the Marine industry, in roles such as Commercial, Production, Projects or Engineering Design
• Strong techno-commercial background in shiprepair/marine construction
• Strong experience in cost estimation and analysis for new ship repair projects
• Experience in subcontracting and major equipment procurement is advantageous
• Familiar with bidding and tender protocols
• Good interpersonal, organizational and computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Candidates with experience will be considered for senior roles
• Candidates from Production, Projects or Engineering Design in the Marine industry who wish to switch to Commercial are advantageous
• Only Singapore Citizens will be considered for this role

• Location: Benoi Road (island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7:25am to 5:00pm
