Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide project deployment for customers' Enterprise IT Network Services.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to fulfil project deliverables.
• Able to perform the role of Project Lead for medium to mega size projects.
• Preferably with basic knowledge and hands-on experience in any of the following areas:
  • Design, planning, integration, implementation and validation
    • LAN/WAN/WLAN: Cisco, Alcatel, Aruba routers and switches
  • Network security solutions
    • Security appliances: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoints, Cisco IPS/IDS, Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass
    • Network monitoring: SolarWinds
    • Network appliances: F5 LTM/GTM, A10 LTM
  • Build or migrate in Cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Troubleshooting and problem identification
• Documentation skills to include creating and updating detailed environment design, installation, support and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Develop test cases and conduct proof of concept tests on new software and hardware prior to upgrade/deployment.
• Establish TAC cases with principal vendors in complex problems until resolved.

Requirements

• Preferably with Cisco certification (CCNP/CCIE).
• Experience with Cisco, Alcatel, F5 products & firewall products.
• Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, data and security networking in implementation.
• Fast-paced environment adaptiveness.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Able to work flexible hours, especially during after-office-hour scheduled maintenance windows.
