[Keppel Internship Programme 2026] Intern, Facility Management (June - Aug/Dec 2026)

Job Description

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy and environment, urban development, and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future. The intern will be responsible for the following:

• Assist the Shift Engineers and Operation Lead in the daily management of DC Operations and Periodic Preventive Maintenance Management to ensure 100% uptime of the DC critical M&E systems.
• Assist in briefing and handover to the Shift Duty Technician on all outstanding issues and Standing Instructions from the Operation Lead, Assistant Manager, or Manager.
• Conduct daily routine checks based on a predetermined checklist to ensure no environmental abnormalities and that all critical M&E related systems are in good working condition.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand Data Centre Operations and the importance of uptime.
• Understand and manage clients, customers, and vendors.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities/Building Management, or an equivalent field of study.
• Ability to understand and appreciate electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment, such as transformers, generators, fuel systems, UPS systems, chillers, air handling units, chilled water plant, fire alarm systems, and fire suppression systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
