Tax Associate - Tax Technology Consulting

What you’ll do

In an increasingly demanding global environment, managing tax and statutory account deadlines is challenging. Our team supports Indirect tax, IFRS, US GAAP, GAAP conversion technology, tax consulting and project management to help clients meet multi-jurisdictional VAT, statutory accounting and reporting requirements. We help clients transform processes and technologies to enhance efficiencies, align data, and improve transparency from ERP systems through the reporting and documentation process, focusing on regional centralisation of indirect tax returns and financial statement preparation.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team in the Global Tax Center Asia. The successful candidate will:

  • Focus on APAC regional delivery of GST/VAT returns, coordination and delivery of tax and accounting services for corporate clients
  • Be involved in tax ERP projects or tax technology projects covering the APAC region
  • Work closely with a team headquartered in Singapore with support teams in Malaysia
  • Travel overseas may be required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field, with a Professional Qualification recognized by ISCA; SCTP accreditation would be an advantage
  • Excellent research and project management skills
  • Highly organized with a strong analytical mind
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Keen interest and adeptness with technology tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, OneSource, Vertex, etc.); advantageous
  • Entry-level candidates who wish to pursue a career in tax advisory are welcome to apply
