Anduril publishes two distinct early-career pathways, anchored by its SkillBridge program page. SkillBridge is open to U.S. service members in the last 180 days of active duty: a 3- to 4-month internship with flexible start dates available year-round, a midpoint and a final evaluation, and a stated path to a full-time offer based on performance. The firm also runs a separate summer intern program for rising-senior university students — a 12-week paid in-person cohort placed across its Costa Mesa, Irvine, Atlanta, Seattle, Boston and Reston offices. The two pathways are on different calendars: SkillBridge applications are governed by a service member's separation date, while the summer cohort runs the standard academic cycle, so application timing depends on which pathway a candidate is on.

Anduril sells a software-defined defense product portfolio — its Lattice autonomy and sensemaking platform, plus a hardware family that includes Ghost, Roadrunner, Fury, Barracuda and Dive-XL — that the firm funds internally and ships off the shelf rather than building only to customer specs. The model contrasts with cost-plus prime contractors: the firm states ideas turn into deployed capabilities in months, not years. It is privately held and in May 2026 doubled its valuation to $61 billion in a $5B Series H round after roughly doubling revenue to $2.2B in 2025, and is building its Arsenal-1 hyperscale manufacturing complex in Ohio for mass production of these systems. Veterans make up more than 12% of the workforce. For an early-career engineer this means a much shorter iteration loop than at a traditional prime — code or design choices made during a summer can plausibly reach a fielded system within the same fiscal year — which shapes both the workload during the program and the skills the firm tests for at the offer stage.
