We envision creating a better future together through learning, training, and simulation. ## Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Pre-Sales Engineer / Senior Engineer to drive growth within the Public Safety and Security (PSS) market. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented professional with a proven track record of selling PSS solutions to government entities, law enforcement, emergency services, and critical infrastructure organizations. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, building long-term relationships, and navigating procurement processes to significantly increase market share for the company. ## Key Responsibilities ### Strategic Planning & Business Growth - Assist or lead presales engagements and support business development initiatives to achieve and exceed order targets. - Identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities across public safety, defence, government, and enterprise sectors. - Develop solution strategies aligned with customer business objectives, operational requirements, and procurement frameworks. - Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities in learning, training, AI, and digital transformation. ### Solution & Customer Engagement - Translate customer challenges into innovative learning, assessment, and workforce development solutions. - Advise customers on the adoption of AI-enabled learning, assessment, and analytics platforms while balancing innovation with governance, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. - Build trusted relationships with senior executives, programme owners, technical teams, and procurement stakeholders. ### Proposal Development & Bid Management - Assist or lead solutioning activities for RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and tender submissions. - Develop high-level solution architectures, technical proposals, compliance matrices, statements of work, and implementation approaches. - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define solution scope, technical assumptions, risks, and delivery considerations. - Support cost estimation, solution sizing, partner evaluations, and win strategies. - Ensure solutions are technically compliant, innovative, competitive, and aligned with customer requirements. - Support AI governance questionnaires, security reviews, risk assessments, and compliance submissions as part of bid and procurement requirements. ## Qualifications and Skills ### Experience & Industry Knowledge - Minimum 3+ years of experience in presales, solution consulting, solution architecture, business development, or related roles. (Entry level candidates are welcome.) - Experience within public safety & security, defence, government technology, education technology, enterprise learning, or digital transformation sectors. - Proven experience leading solution development, customer workshops, and bid pursuits. - Demonstrable track record of contributing to or exceeding order targets. - Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes, tenders, contracts, and grant funding mechanisms. ### Technical Competencies - Strong understanding of education technologies solutions. - Good understanding of cloud technologies, virtualization, software-defined infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and system integration. - Experience evaluating, proposing, or implementing AI-enabled solutions in government, enterprise, education, or regulated sectors. ### Professional Skills - Excellent solution presentation and demonstration skill. - Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences, including senior executives and government stakeholders. - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills. - Self-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset. ## Our Commitment We offer an environment where you will work on cutting-edge technologies and innovative solution architectures.
