The firm’s clients—including individuals, families, family offices, endowments, foundations, charities, institutions, consultants, and financial intermediaries—are served by over 1,000 colleagues worldwide, all of whom are equity owners of the firm. ## Program Overview Brown Advisory is seeking motivated, team-oriented students to join us for an 8-week, on-site Summer Analyst Programme based in our London office from June 14th through August 6th, 2027. The programme is designed to provide broad exposure to the investment management industry and the opportunity to learn from colleagues across the firm. Our immersive programme is designed to build your analytical, strategic, and communication skills through global orientation, dedicated training, and meaningful project work. Throughout the summer, you’ll gain exposure to a variety of teams, including Equity Research, Private Client, Sustainability, Fixed Income, Institutional Sales, Compliance, and Legal. By collaborating with colleagues across the firm, you’ll develop a holistic understanding of how an investment management firm operates and delivers long-term value to clients. You’ll also have opportunities to engage with senior management, attend and present in meetings, and build relationships with colleagues and fellow Summer Analysts through a variety of networking and social events. The programme offers a competitive salary, with additional compensation for travel expenses to and from the London office. **Application deadline:** October 9th, 2026. ## Job Description This role is heavily focused on research and analysis and involves: - Analyzing companies and securities across various end markets and geographies. - Providing written research, financial statements, and valuation analysis. - Writing credit memos and presenting investment recommendations to members of the investment research committee and the wider firm. - Building financial models for investable companies. - Attending earnings calls; utilizing industry-specific data in support of company coverage; reviewing business and trade publications, annual reports, and financial filings. ## Applicant Requirements - Currently studying for a bachelor’s degree (in their penultimate year) or a master’s degree. - Analytical and logical thinker, comfortable working with numbers. - Eager to ask questions, admit mistakes, and learn new things. - Proactive, reliable, and considerate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Organized with good attention to detail. - Small amount of financial research experience is preferred.
