Our UK Summer Internship Program runs from 14 June to 6 August 2027. Internships will be available in Property, Casualty (Environmental Impairment Liability), Credit Lines, Trade Credit, and Lex London Casualty. ## Make Your Mark in Underwriting AIG Underwriting teams help find insurance solutions across areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, and Multinational Clients. Our goal is to unlock the full potential in every colleague, empowering people to grow as insurance professionals and add greater value to our customers and AIG. ## About the AIG Early Career Programme AIG’s Summer Interns are fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving, global insurance company. During the 8-week program, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience and insurance industry knowledge by working with leaders on dynamic projects, offering ample opportunity for challenges, learning, and achievement. Summer Interns join one of our key business teams, gaining core technical knowledge and professional skills in a diverse environment. In addition to meaningful on-the-job experiences, interns participate in instructor-led masterclasses, hear directly from senior leaders, and build connections through mentoring circles, networking events, and volunteering. Following the internship program, interns may be considered for a permanent role in the Graduate Analyst program beginning in September 2028. ## What You’ll Do - Work alongside experienced underwriters to assess risks. - Gain exposure to real underwriting decisions and client interactions. - Learn about different lines of business and underwriting practices. - Analyze data, financial information, and market trends to support underwriting decisions. - Collaborate with other interns and your wider team on projects. - Build a strong internal network. - Participate in training sessions, networking events, and mentoring opportunities. ## What You’ll Need to Succeed - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2028. - Previous work or volunteering experience in any industry or sector. - Evidence of extra-curricular activities. - A collaborative team player with strong communication skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Motivated, proactive, accountable, and willing to learn. ## What Happens Next?
