E. Shaw group seeks an analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with an impressive record of achievement to work with the Investor Relations (IR) Chief of Staff, as well as the head and senior members of Investor Relations. This role offers the opportunity to partner on highly impactful projects within a collegial and collaborative environment, providing considerable potential for professional development growth. ## What You Will Do You will lead or help drive a varied portfolio of projects in support of senior IR members and business unit management. Projects may include: - Developing and driving progress on IR's annual goals and strategic initiatives. - Contributing to analyses that help drive the fundraising strategy. - Analyzing resource allocation within the IR team. - Developing generative AI (GAI) capabilities and strategy. - Generating reporting for various internal audiences. You will also expand and evolve your portfolio of responsibilities over time based on business needs, your skills, and career development goals. ## Qualifications and Requirements **Required:** - A bachelor's or advanced degree, and at least one year of experience. - Experience managing projects and processes, with keen attention to detail and well-developed analytical skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - The capacity to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion. **Preferred (Helpful but not required):** - Experience in management consulting, investment banking, investment management, or similar fields. - Knowledge of the hedge fund/alternative investments industry and a demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence. ## Compensation and Benefits The expected annual base salary for this position is $120,000 to $160,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus (guaranteed in the first year of hire), and benefits such as medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program. _The D.
