Selection for interviews or roles will be based on business needs and candidate qualifications: ### Emerging Markets The Emerging Markets Debt team has a 40-year history of investing in emerging markets and manages over $40 billion in assets. This global team of more than 50 professionals across eight offices combines deep regional expertise with a broad, cross-market perspective. - The team manages active fixed income strategies across hard-currency sovereign and quasi-sovereign debt, local interest-rate markets, currencies, and corporate credit. - The investment approach integrates in-depth fundamental research with disciplined portfolio construction and risk management. - Team members perform country and macroeconomic research, monitor economic, political, and policy developments, analyze central bank communications and economic data, and contribute to investment decision-making in emerging markets, with a particular focus on Latin America and the Caribbean. **Skills relevant to this team include:** - Strong interest in emerging markets and/or global macroeconomics. - Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is strongly preferred. - Academic background in Latin American History or Economics is strongly preferred. ### Broad Markets The Broad Markets Fixed Income team is a $140bn AUM investment team within MSIM Fixed Income, responsible for managing active single and multi-sector portfolios across Multi-Sector, Investment Grade Credit, and Sovereign strategies.
