For the Sustainability Report 2026, please visit www.temasek.com.sg/SR2026. ## Introduction ### The O&P NET (Non-Executive Talent) Team The O&P NET team ensures that our Temasek Portfolio Companies (TPCs) are guided and led by competent, capable, and well-constructed boards to navigate challenging and complex operating environments and achieve strategic and business objectives. The team also enables the start-up of our Platforms and Venture Companies with appropriate governance setup and executive/non-executive resources, especially in the initial stages of growth. We identify, track, build, and engage with an extended talent network to support the requirements of Temasek’s broader ecosystem of portfolio companies, platforms, and venture companies. Furthermore, we track and support the adoption of best corporate governance and board practices by our TPCs, platforms, and venture companies as part of Temasek’s ongoing investment stewardship activities. ## Responsibilities As a member of the NET team, the Intern will work closely with the team and be responsible for the following: - Researching and generating a pipeline of potential talent who could serve on Boards, Advisory Panels, and as Corporate Advisors or Operating Partners. - Working with other members of the NET team to design talent frameworks and identify process automation opportunities. - Enhancing and automating our knowledge management system in support of the team’s objectives and in line with the Personal Data Protection Act. This will involve working with our Technology and Compliance teams to articulate and design clear data hierarchies and data policies. - Undertaking other related duties in support of the team’s core activities. ## Competencies Gained The incumbent will gain the following competencies: - The ability to analyze the talent landscape and gain exposure to board and advisory talent that would help Temasek's ecosystem and investee companies meet their strategic objectives and development goals. - An understanding of a broad range of industries of interest. - An understanding and appreciation of corporate and ESG principles, as well as good board practices. - Exposure to and opportunities to interact with senior stakeholders and business leaders. ## Requirements ### Qualifications / Capabilities: - Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a recognized institution. - For postgraduate interns: Prior experience in the HR resourcing function and/or in a research capacity would be advantageous. - Good IT skills and conversancy with the use of search engines and databases. - Good language skills, both written and spoken. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated initiative and persistence in probing and researching information. - Meticulous and diligent in maintaining and updating databases on a timely basis. - Strong coordination and organization skills. - Highly professional and discreet, able to maintain confidentiality on projects and talent information. ### Interpersonal Skills: - A team player with a pleasant disposition. - Ability to work well with people within and outside the team, and across the organizational hierarchy, willing to assist teammates as required. - Self-confident with the ability to interface with various external parties and stakeholders. - A self-starter with the ability to multitask. - Curiosity with a strong interest and willingness to learn. - Diligent and takes ownership of the team’s projects and responsibilities. ## Applying to this role This Board & Advisory Talent & Governance Intern, Non-Executive Talent (Jan - Jun 2027) role at Temasek runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
