## Role details

## Job Purpose

To assist Wealth Planners in developing and maintaining profitable and long-standing business relationships with high net worth (HNW) clients.

To enable Wealth Planners to advise clients effectively on complex products in all asset classes, wealth structuring, estate planning, retirement planning, and protection.

To assist Wealth Planners in creating and implementing comprehensive and compliant financial solutions for individuals, businesses, and organisations, utilizing knowledge of tax and investment strategies, securities, insurance, pension plans, and tax-efficient investment.

Work with internal and external business partners to offer bespoke wealth management solutions.

## Key Responsibilities

### Supporting Client Management

- Support Wealth Planners in developing, growing, and retaining their portfolio of HNW clients.

- Validate and check valuations prepared by Wealth Planning Assistants for the Wealth Planners.

- Research and analyse information for client solutions to ascertain viability and determine if due diligence criteria have been met.

- Prepare meeting agendas and reports, ensuring all areas of the client’s financial situation are addressed by cross-referencing with the fact-find to identify needs and opportunities.

- Handle client affairs with integrity and efficiency, in a manner consistent with the standards expected by HNW individuals.

- Play a significant part in service delivery by dealing with client requests and processing data.

- Be responsible for identifying opportunities that match the client’s needs and maximise income for the Bank.

### Client Acquisition

- Assist in managing the Wealth Planners' network of personal and business relationships, both internally and externally, to acquire, develop, and service clients.

- Proactively generate new business opportunities using existing clients and leads from other areas of the business.

### Organisation

- Assist with the future planning of meetings, including meeting preparation and planning for potential issues.

- Conduct investment, pension, protection, and tax planning product testing and meet with providers.

### General Administration

- Assist with compliance functions to ensure the business aligns with regulatory requirements, including file checking, product research, and preparing suitability letters (research sources include Financial Express Analytics, Selectapension, Defaqto).

- Communicate with clients and providers at all levels via telephone, post, or email.

### Compliance

- Successfully complete regular compliance tests, adhering to both legal and regulatory requirements.
