As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality research and insight to support our advisory offering to a diverse set of clients. You will support a wide range of activities across the firm's core capabilities, including communications strategy, media relations, crisis management, transaction communications, investor relations, ESG advisory, market and industry research, and government relations. This is a unique opportunity for a driven, self-motivated candidate to develop a successful career in a growing international advisory firm with excellent opportunities for client exposure. ## Responsibilities As a Consultant with the Strategy and Communications team, your role will include: - **Research and analysis** – Conduct desktop research and analysis to contextualise market, geopolitical and/or business trends and understand how they may impact clients' businesses. Other areas of strategic support may include industry and peer benchmarking, as well as preparing reports and insights for senior leadership and board-level executives. - **Horizon scanning** – Keep abreast of current trends, news and developments in the public domain, including proactive media monitoring, and evaluate their impact on clients. - **Stakeholder management** – Build an understanding of, and lists of, stakeholder targets to support client account work, including journalists, influencers, analysts and investors. - **Content development** – Contribute to the creation of compelling and impactful content for various communications channels, including traditional media, digital and social media. Collaborate with colleagues to develop client-ready documents, messaging, executive materials and campaign support. - **Account support** – Assist the wider account team in managing client relationships by supporting client meetings, developing and maintaining client communications materials, taking notes, updating project trackers and helping to ensure that all client needs are met in a timely and satisfactory manner. - **Supporting new business development** – Support senior team members with new business proposals, including conducting research and developing insights to support the proposal-building process. Furthermore, you will be expected to: - Build strong client and team relationships. - Provide support and insight to client teams, proactively highlighting opportunities and potential areas of concern. - Build a strong network of effective stakeholder relationships internally and externally. - Proactively seek formal and informal learning and development opportunities to support your professional growth. ## Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, ideally in business, journalism, communications, public policy, finance or economics. A postgraduate degree is an advantage. - One to two years' experience in corporate or financial communications, journalism, banking or financial services, management consulting, or public policy is preferable. - Excellent verbal and written English skills. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. ## Preferred Qualifications - Additional language capabilities in Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia or Bahasa Malaysia are advantageous. - Experience with AI tools and social media platform management, including LinkedIn, X and Reddit, is an added advantage. - International experience through study and/or work is a plus. - A strong interest in geopolitics, macroeconomic drivers and financial markets. - Confidence, maturity and an outgoing personality.
