## Investment Analyst / Manager (Japan Focus)

We are seeking an Investment Analyst / Manager to join our Investment team in Hong Kong. The role has a primary focus on the Japan investment market. The successful candidate will support and, depending on their experience, lead the evaluation and execution of private equity real estate investment opportunities.

## Key Responsibilities

    
- Conduct due diligence on real estate investment opportunities, including valuation, financial modelling, market analysis, and benchmarking.
    
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and analyze cash flows, capital structures, investment returns, and acquisition or disposition strategies.
    
- Conduct research on market conditions and investment opportunities to support underwriting assumptions and investment recommendations.
    
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials to support investment decisions, strategy, and return analysis.
    
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisers to drive due diligence, transaction structuring, and deal execution.
    
- Participate in on-site due diligence and assess asset-level opportunities and risks.
    
- Interface and negotiate with counterparties, operating partners, management teams, brokers, banks, and professional advisers.
    
- Build and maintain relationships with key participants in the real estate investment market.

## Requirements

    
- Degree holder in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines with 3-7 years of relevant experience in investment banking or private equity fund.
    
- Open-minded and adaptable to changes, with a good understanding of the real estate market.
    
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, research, and analytical skills.
    
- Good command of written and spoken English.
    
- Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Must be a good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    
- Must be based in Hong Kong and willing to travel frequently for business.
