Our technology starts with you. ## The Job Responsibilities - Responsible for identifying, analyzing Out-of-Control (OOC) lots, Defect Pareto, defect trend, and characterization data to determine the source of defects and drive yield improvement. - Perform defect characterization and defect source analysis for equipment or defectivity baseline improvement. - Responsible for setting up, optimizing, and maintaining Defectivity Product sampling and control limits. - Lead the troubleshooting of defectivity alerts and be involved in the Material Review Board for material assessment and disposition. - Work closely with cross-functional teams (process, equipment, device, quality) on Quality/Productivity improvement programs for defectivity improvement activities. - Opportunity to be involved in the deployment of an Advanced Defectivity Monitoring system project involving AI, Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and deep learning with DIT and cross-functional teams. ## Requirements and Qualifications - Degree in Material Science, Electrical/Electronics, Microelectronics, Mechanical, Physics, or Chemistry. - Preferred minimum of 3 years of working experience in the semiconductor wafer fabrication industry and good knowledge of Defectivity methodology and inspection tools. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. - Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams with good interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of Klarity Defects, AceXP, Space, Spotfire, and other Defectivity-related tools will be an advantage. - Familiarity with SPC concepts and other problem-solving tools: SPACE, FMEA, 8D, Data mining analysis, and AI based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) will be advantageous. - Self-driven, independent, and possessing an inquisitive mind. ## About ST ST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2026 Global Top Employer, and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
