ExxonMobil also contributes to community programs in Singapore that support the arts, education, health, and the environment. ## Job Roles Overview We are hiring for the following technical roles within the Maintenance functional group: - Machinery Technician - Metals (Fixed Equipment) Technician - Instrumentation & Electrical Technician - Power Distribution Technician ## Machinery Technician Responsibilities: - Carry out maintenance, service, and repair of all process equipment with the maximum degree of safety and quality. - Maintain rotating process equipment, including centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, diaphragm & metering pumps, screw pumps, blowers and fans, and oil mist & lubricant systems. - Service major machinery such as centrifugal & reciprocating compressors, extruders, gas turbine generators, and steam turbine drivers. - Maintain hydraulic systems, including hydraulic pumps, marine and truck loading arms, and hydraulic control systems. - Maintain proper records of all jobs performed in the SAP application and participate in mechanical-related projects and plant modification work. ## Metals (Fixed Equipment) Technician Responsibilities: - Carry out safe and high-quality maintenance, service, and repair of process equipment such as process piping, valves, fixed equipment and structures, utilities systems, and marine and truck loading and unloading systems. - Maintain proper records of all jobs performed in the SAP application and participate in mechanical-related projects and plant modification work. ## Instrumentation & Electrical Technician Responsibilities: - Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance work for all related equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner. - Maintain instrumentation, including process transmitters, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA). - Maintain electrical systems, including motors, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives (VFD). - Participate in reliability programs to improve availability rates for all process instrumentation and electrical facilities. - Maintain proper records of all jobs performed in the SAP application and participate in mechanical-related projects and plant modification work. ## Power Distribution Technician Responsibilities: - Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance work for all electrical power distribution equipment, such as gas turbine generators, switchgears, transformers, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and DC chargers. - Conduct various electrical equipment health assessments, including TanDelta, high potential tests, and protective relay calibrations. - Maintain proper records of all jobs performed in the SAP application and participate in mechanical-related projects and plant modification work. ## Skills and Qualifications **Requirements:** - Nitec or Higher Nitec in a related Engineering field. - An effective team player with good communication skills. - Relevant work experience in the petrochemical or refining industry will be an advantage. ## Career Information **Job Group Capability:** Operations **Job Group:** Maintenance Successful candidates may be assigned to any of the listed roles: Machinery Technician, Metals Technician, Instrumentation & Electrical Technician, or Power Distribution Technician. **Equal Opportunity Employer** It is the policy of the Company to provide equal employment opportunity in conformance with all applicable laws and regulations to individuals who are qualified to perform job requirements.
