You will report to the Senior Manager, Client Solutions, Private Markets, and work across functions, teams, and geographies to serve leading PE/VC clients across the region. ## Job Summary We are seeking an Associate to help drive ambitious growth by delighting our private market clients across Southeast Asia. In this role, you will have direct exposure to leading private equity and venture capital investors across APAC while connecting them with world-class experts across industries—an unparalleled opportunity to build your network and deepen your understanding of investment decision-making. ## Responsibilities - Execute time-sensitive projects to support clients in making informed investment decisions. This includes analyzing client requests, building and qualifying primary populations of topic experts, and delivering insights that directly impact investment theses. - Develop relationships with GLG's most respected thought leaders across sectors. Recruit new senior executives and leading consultants into the GLG Councils through research, networking, and direct outreach. - Organize and host client event programming, including small group conversations between GLG Network Members and clients, and coordinate private meetings at client offices. - Grow GLG client relationships by engaging directly with leading investment professionals across APAC through in-person meetings, project execution, and ongoing interactions. - Collaborate closely with overseas account teams to implement account plans to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction. ## Requirements - Business-level fluency (written and oral) in English and at least one of the following: Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese (additional language capabilities are highly valued), as this role requires serving clients and counterparts from China, South Korea, or Japan. - A client-first mentality and flexibility to accommodate urgent requests and global schedules. - A confident, proactive communication style with comfort building relationships via phone, video, and in-person, as this role requires extensive outreach and relationship-building. - 0-2 years of work experience in client-facing roles in relevant industries such as banking, business services, consultancies, financial services, or startup environments. - Bachelor's degree or higher. ## Preferences - Curiosity about financial markets, including emerging trends and investment opportunities. - Passion for problem-solving in a client service environment. - Ability to write, speak, and present succinctly to deliver investment theses and ideas. - Strong multitasking and prioritization skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. ## What We Offer - Competitive compensation package with both fixed and variable components. - The opportunity to build a powerful professional network early in your career through direct access to leading private market investors across Asia-Pacific and world-class experts across industries, from renowned academics to Fortune 500 executives. - Comprehensive professional development combining real project experience, senior leadership exposure, and structured learning opportunities. - Work arrangement: 4 days in the office, 1 day work from home. ## About GLG / Gerson Lehrman Group GLG is the world’s leading platform for trusted human expertise.
