In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate trade processing and strong risk and control practices across the entire trade lifecycle. Partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Technology, and external parties, you will help deliver an exceptional client experience. This role requires someone who thrives on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and accountability for high-quality outcomes. As a Trade Support Analyst in Credit Derivatives Client Services, you will provide critical trade lifecycle support for clients trading credit default swap products. Your responsibilities include ensuring trades are accurately captured, reconciled, and progressed through processing milestones, while responding to client and internal queries with a focus on quality, timeliness, and risk awareness. You will collaborate with partners across operations, technology, reference data, external custodians, and client contacts to resolve issues and improve processes. ## Responsibilities - Book and allocate trades accurately and on time to support the trade lifecycle. - Respond to client queries and provide clear, timely resolution updates. - Perform control reconciliations to validate positions and processing accuracy across systems and teams. - Investigate exceptions raised by settlements and confirmations partners and drive solutions to closure. - Support operational projects and ad hoc initiatives, including process enhancements and new system implementations. ## Required Qualifications and Skills - Strong logical and analytical mindset, with the ability to challenge the status quo and think creatively. - Process flow understanding, including the ability to comprehend process flows, linkages between systems, and identify opportunities for improvement or streamlining. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy to reduce financial risk and support strong client relationships. - Flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload while maintaining awareness of risk and control issues. - Ability to work effectively under pressure. - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. - Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver successful outcomes. ## Preferred Qualifications and Skills - Previous experience in the finance industry. - Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes. ## Applying to this role This Trade Support Analyst role at J.P.
